The Heritage, Tourism and Hospitality, International are an initiative of Frank Go, emeritus professor Tourism Management (Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University) and Karin Elgin-Nijhuis and organised by Elgin & Co. in partnership with colleagues from academia and a wide variety of organisations.

The conferences focus on the leading question “How can tourism destinations succeed in attracting tourists while simultaneously engaging all stakeholders in contributing to the preservation of natural and cultural heritage?” and offer a unique forum for researchers, practitioners and policy makers to exchange knowledge and experience.
