Heritage, Tourism and Hospitality, International Conference

Preservation, Presentation, Promotion, Profit and Purpose

The Heritage, Tourism and Hospitality, International Conference is an initiative of Frank Go (I.M., emeritus professor Tourism Management at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University) and Karin Elgin-Nijhuis.

HTHIC is organised by Elgin & Co. in partnership with colleagues from academia, destinations and heritage and tourism organisations.

The conference focuses on the leading question “How can tourism destinations succeed in attracting tourists while simultaneously engaging all stakeholders in contributing to the preservation of natural and cultural heritage?” and offer a unique forum for researchers, practitioners and policy makers to exchange knowledge and experience. Visit the HTHIC and HTHIC Archives  webpages for more detailed information.
